Wed, 06 Apr 2016 04:10:00 +0000http://hipquotient.com/?p=5447#comment-19916I played in rock bands back then and we had had an on-stage rule to not touch each other. every now and then we would forget and get a good jolt which would wake you up to say the least. Thank God we had 120 volt wiring in the U.S not 220 like the U.K so we didn’t die.Amps were poorly designed and had a “death capacitor” that occasionally failed. Poor grounding or a failed death capacitor could have fed up to 600 volts to Keith. Those days were great for bands but I don’t miss the bad electrical wiring.

Speaking of crude equipment, that clip is great, reminds me of watching my friends practice back in high school. Love that garage band sound. Technology is overrated.
