Bluesy rock ‘n’ roll with lots of great instrumentals to go with frontman Peter Wolf’s energized vocals. A recipe for excellent musical entertainment. One album cut I particularly like is the last song on the 1974 album “Nightmares . . . And Other Tales From The Vinyl Jungle”. It’s called GETTIN’ OUT. I find that I like those Atlantic “J. Geils Band” albums more now (it’s January 2017) than I did when I first bought them in the 1990s (on audio cassettes, no less).
